Like Love Poem by Slim Jay

Like Love

A young soul craves for beauty
Comfort and a good life
And when in love, wishes for it to last
In this transient, ephemeral world
Where all would finally pass on

Love would fly to where it belongs
But like life, nothing lasts for long
Unless rekindled, re-ignited
Today it's weak, tomorrow it would be strong

Love, like the wind is sometimes swift
Sometimes silent, sometimes a bit harsh
Sometimes smooth and soft, as a whisper

Love, does it have an end? Never
It grows, shrinks, bends but can never break
Love is what heals a broken heart
Love is all it takes to find one
Love is all it takes to preserve one
Love may be a gift but it can't tied to one's girdle
It has to be shared to be potent
It needs to be shared, i hope it pretty makes sense?
