Light Of Dawn Poem by Jan Jarnigan

Light Of Dawn

Looking
out the window
at the
dawn,
I pondered the
sight
of this horizon
in first
pale lavender, then
melon~~
Breaking the dark
gray-blue of night.
Then
the bands of color
spread out
and ropes of glistening
golden sun
heralded the morn.
The brightness
of their glow
dissipated those
surrounding
colors
until the light blue
of the
sky
greeted
the
glorious day.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Again, I don't know if this is a true prose poem as it seems to have a form other than that.
This poem was written as my plane departed at dawn and I was looking out the plane window in the air, writing these inspirations of the beautiful morning.
