Lifetime Choices
turn left or right,
i turn right,
there is a huge fight,
my lover and i,
just try to get by,
we end up traped,
and just like that,
we are split up,
i get another choice,
move back in time or forward,
i choose to go back,
once again i lose,
i'm back where i started,
turn left or right.

Yes I agree that these lifetime choices make us go in circles. This is a well written poem, and it has images the reader can actually 'see'. I have been through these choices dozens of times, and always ended up right back where I started. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
