no matter how far i get
life still says i have a long way to go
no matter where i go, some things i can't forget
sometimes life passes us slow.
the clock ticks
like it's mocking me
the past, i can not fix
but the future is untouched and nearly reaching visibility.
life's road seems endless
so many hills, mountains, twists and turns
but i'll make it just fine being friendless
no time to waste, life is a lesson to learn.
in such a short time
i feel like i've already gotten so far
but i can still see the starting line
time is fast, time is slow, time can not be captured in a jar.
life has its smiles
life has its sorrows
i still have millions of miles
but life won't always be there tomorrow.
life is brief
life is fast and life is slow
life has its joys and griefs
and it tells me i still have a long way to go.
