Life's Embrace

She does not know what she wants.
Love is shifting allegiences all around her,
Like the rubbled stones beneath her feet.
Will she stand still and wait to slip away?
Or
Will she walk on with the memories of loves lost
And step into the arms of her own life
Which has been patiently waiting to embrace her.
