Life On The 40 Route Poem by Nancy Winter Miranda

Life On The 40 Route

Traveling comes easily on the 40 Route
Life is lived and roads are walked
Stops at shops and pastries bought
Happy faces scurry about
Raindrops fall and parcels tucked
Sunshine scatters now and then
Life on the 40 Route

Pictures abound in a place as this
Tree lined streets, cobbled lanes
Oscar in the window, brings a smile to one’s face
Swans that are swimming all for fun
Life’s relaxed on the way to the shore
Always arriving at our front door
Life on the 40 Route
