LIFE ON EARTH

Lying on bed of shattered dreams
Looking up into world of darkness
Tears flowing like turbulent wild streams
Trying to soothe emotions of emptiness
What once was bouncing with joy
Trying to catch the distant star
Now a memory sealed with sigh
Burning like fire with fervor

Wait there is a small crack
In walls of silence letting light
Streaming into my heart in streaks
Showing the way in shadows bright
In glory of love and affection
Burning the flames of life’s truth
Figments of promises guiding the direction
Revealing secrets of life on earth



Future is calling so very gently
Journey has begun on new path
Rough it may be terrain’s that’s hilly
Will is strong to face wrath
Work to be done before time
Runs out in its due course
Looking back now shinning is sunshine
Of higher purpose of different verse
