Life Of A Macro Photographer Poem by Philo Yan

Life Of A Macro Photographer

A motley crew are we...

To trudge and trek
on bended backs
and heavy gear
they have no fear
to hold the breaths
for macro snaps
Don't mind the stretch
or stiffened necks.

A motley crew are we...

Snap spider webs
and not to step
on anthill traps
Find tiny bugs
on grassy rugs
chase butterflies
and bumble bees
Don't mind the wobbly knees...

A motley crew are we...

Do mind the bites,
Do mind the spots
Do mind the mud
Do mind the blood
Do mind the holey patch
Do mind the itchy scratch.

A motley crew are we...

To be a macro user
One needs a good diffuser
To walk the macro beat
One has to beat the heat!

A motley crew are we...
