Life Never Wanted Her To Be Happy

Rating: 5.0

Grab a hold of this hand
because I am here for you
You have gone through so much
in your life and I'm sorry
but I could never relate
I wanted to but I was too young
You were much older
You were like my sister
I saw more tears
than I saw eye boogers
You didn't sleep much
You did drugs
You left to the Navy
You became a respectable person
Now you are unhappy
because life never wanted
you to be happy

I like this..........I think there are alot of people that just give up because they believe this, that life never wanted them to be happy. Great job. Sincerely, Mary

Nice approach! I wonder, however. Does her unhappiness contribute to his happiness in 'life never wanted her to be happy'? I sense a contented understanding with this poem. L
