'Life Is Ruff' Poem by Va Rockeya Foy

'Life Is Ruff'

Parents are taking drugs
each and everyday
Kids dropping out of school
heading the wrong ways

People are saying how do
they suppose to survive through
this stuff
I tell them hold on
because
life is ruff

They want to give up not
knowing what to do
They are saying they rather hang
on the corners with their crew

They want advice because
things can be tough
I tell them hold on because
life is ruff

This is a lot of what reality seems to be like for so many kids. Well put.

I think this is the best one I've read from you so far. Nice job.
