Life In A Liquor Bottle

Rating: 5.0

Life in a Liquor Bottle

He dives into a liquor bottle, and
Zigzags like a snake on the sand.
A wife waits for her hero,
But who comes as a zero.
Obscenities ooze from his ‘stupor gland'.

The hopeless life of an alcoholic husband well depicted in the poem. A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned with beautiful rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
