Life And Love
I might have died for love
but lived to only die
I'd like to live for love
but love has passed me by
it isn't all that bad
I rule my universe
and love can be quite sad
for better or for worse
the world is cold and cruel
the heartbeat is too faint
to waste it on a fool
while looking for a saint
and living is enough
when I think of the past
for life and love are rough
and both can never last
