When I tell you I need to be alone,
Is when I need you most.
When I tell you I'm fine,
Is when I need to cry.

When I stand strong,
Is when I'm ready to fall.
When it seems like nothing can go wrong,
Is when everything falls apart.

When I tell you not to touch me,
Is when I need you to hug me.
When I tell you I'm okay,
Is when I'm a fake.

When I tell you I'll be fine,
You know it's all a lie.
Reality is what we are making it,
I'm simply tired of faking it.
