Lies Poem by May Daimler

Lies

Rainbow is in your words,
But rain is in your eyes

You said you care,
But only on your words

I clench your hand tight,
And you clench her hand tight

I'll try not to live in madness
But you forced me down into madness

I thought I were the only Alice,
But you turn me into Cheshire Cat

Thought you were a Batman,
But you were actually a junkman

Thought you were there for me,
But you were there for her

No more status for you, no more
No more you cheat on me, not anymore

Because I've grown stronger
And you, keep on lying
