Liar Hate Poem by Daniel Richards

Liar Hate

I hate all I see
A feeling, no resist, I’ll be
Here crying, dried out tears,
Just alone with thoughts and fears.

Life is a lie, like the sun at night
Becoming incoherent so I fight to be free
In there cuffs you will find me

I can’t outrun the sadness I’ve seen
But I can’t remain with what’s left of me
Life is a lie, which means I’ve been lied too
Life is a lie, which means I’ve been lying too

The truth in the lies of which I’ve been running too
Is just a lie and it’s been borrowed too
