Letting Go Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Letting Go

Letting Go

Let me tell you what needs letting go
The very notion of letting go
Needs letting go

I know
There are flaws
In the things i think
the things i drink

Where is the pleasure?
when i am under pressure?
to comply?

They imply
All that i do
Even when it's knew
has to be inspected
And most times the decision respected

To relinquish
diminish
my involvement
and movement
Letting go
of what i know

It's easier said than done
Especially when it's fun

Smoking
stalking
possessions
obsessions

Things you've done for years
expected to give up without tears

What's the fuss
When your time is up
You will know
it's time to stop

So, the very notion of letting go
Needs letting go
I want you to know
I am letting go.
