Letting Go Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Letting Go

At night in my bed, I lie awake
I can’t help but wonder, how she could forsake.
The love we shared, was strong and true.
But she said goodbye, so now we are through.
I’m trying to move on, and forget the past.
But the memories we shared will always last.
It hurts when you lose someone you love,
But memories and hopes just aren’t enough.
It’s not easy this much I know.
But I must move on, I must let her go.
