War, hatred, violence and terrorism
are never the true calls
from our conscience.
But these are common happenings
in the modern age of
high-tech science.
Peace, love, sympathy
are routed out from our emotions.
The empty space is filled with
cynicism, selfishness
and resentful passions.
Wars, whether for territorial expansion,
power and religion,
are taking place every now and then.
Formalism has taken the place
of true religion,
that religion is not one, but many
is a poison,
blots out the felicity of life,
startles us by the loudness of cannons.
Let us not violate the canons
of morality and
try regaining our oneness.
The crying needs of the hour,
as dictated by conscience,
are love, brother-hood and kindness.
Great message. I wonder why the waves of hatred never seize to stop?
If we restrain our tongues and pay equal respects to all iconic persons of all regions really in our minds, this will cease.Otherwise, never.
Thanks Mam for your encouraging word.If u find some time, pl. Visit'a bird when caged'.
