Let's Leave While We'Re Still In Love

Rating: 4.0

Let’s leave while we’re still in love
Let’s turn ourselves around and go our separate ways
I saw it done on the mid day movie
It seemed so naturally easy to do
So tell me why it’s so hard
To do with you

Story books don’t have a habit of coming true
There story ends before their story ever comes into view
Happy ever after stands side by side with children’s laughter
At least I spent time with you

Let’s close our eyes and pretend we never met
Tear up the memories, and drown them in the sea
Turn ourselves around and go our separate ways
Before the snowball has a chance to start

Story books don’t have a habit of coming true
There story ends before their story ever comes into view
Happy ever after stands side by side with children’s laughter
At least I spent time with you

Let’s leave while we’re still in love
Let’s turn ourselves around and go our separate ways
I saw it done on the mid day movie
It seemed so naturally easy to do
But it’s not like that, no not like that
With you
