Let It Be Poem by David Harris

Let It Be

Rating: 5.0

I wish the world
was a million miles away,
and would leave me alone.
In loneliness, I feel someone.
While in a crowd a tiny dot.
I do not want to be
in this world anymore.

Somewhere out there
is a six-foot hole.
If they let me,
I would bury myself in there.
However, the world will not let me,
they want me,
to be strong and carry on.

My body is too tired,
too many aches in my limbs.
My happy words are running out,
a pennant for passed sins.
Just let me go I plead.
I have nothing left,
let it be the end of me.

I have a poem......Don't hold it in....just let it out....and after saying that...don't listen to the friend that worries too much and makes you stop writing what you need to.......QUILTY: O)
