Lessons From Our Blind Friends Poem by Tushar Ray

Lessons From Our Blind Friends

The lacking vision of blind men is balanced by Nature well
Due to effects of acute skills that they come to learn
Any man can do better by taking up the blind's step
When his wily ego is well tackled by acute holistic feeling

The white cane to a blind man is an extension of his mind
For moving around in heighted feeling finding own way
Always weighing all the things holding the intellect keen
Then sorting out by touch at first before taking key means

Blinds initially feel on thing before inferring on them
A good way to go around in this tricky world of ours
If feeling in us is eagerly awaken to make a clear choice
Then least meddling is caused by our very biased mind

Intellect is often dictated by the power of wrong ego
Creating emotion other than what is about to happen
Biased ego defeating our intellect is seen quite often
Making our emotions modified by hidden egotist plan

So lacking vision of blind men is balanced by Nature well
Due to effects of acute skills that they come to learn
Any man can do better too by taking up the blind's step
When his wily ego is well tackled by acute holistic feeling
