Lazy Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Lazy

Lazy
Summer
Mornings

Lazy
Summer
Evenings

Lazy
Summer
Nights

Lazy are the
Mornings, evenings
And nights...

Lazy are the
Summer days,
The hot and
Sizzling, summer
Days, these are
Summer holidays

Lethargic
Laziness
Slackens
These days

Lounging
On the sofa
Rolling on the
Bed,
Reclining on the
Chair,
These are summer
Holidays

Sleeping
Late at night
Awaking late
Morning,
Without a care
To go anywhere
Forgetting the date

Why make haste?

Relax and relish,
Enjoy these days
For these are the
Days of school
Summer holidays
