Last Night Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Last Night

Dear Ma
I saw you last night
I don't remember was it a dream or real
Everything seems surreal
Only visions
Does it bear any mission?
To early to predict
I enjoyed the sight
It happened that I was travel ling by a car
When the car caught up in a jam
The road was blocked by the other vehicles
I wondered destination is too far
At that very moment you came from the back
And cleared the road for me to pass
Thank you Ma for your tender touch
No this time from my eyes not a drop trickles
I felt peace you are with me
Though I can never see
But I can feel
I know you are for me to heal

it is all of my Ma who has left for her journey to a distant land we never reach with our mortal clothes.
