Lady Melody Poem by Jeremy Willson

Lady Melody

Rating: 2.0

She dances swiftly through your ears
Precious melodies brushing away all of your tears
Her voice is as sweet as honey
It makes the greyest of days seem sunny
Runs throughout your bones and inside your veins
You've now forgotten all your worries and pains
The treble comes, the troubles shall leave
The notes that she sings will leave you at peace

Don't you just love that music can make or break your mood. I have breakup songs I can't listen too and feel good songs I'm always listening to :)

Judith and the Crow recommended you. I like your poem. My only doubt is that the second line is too long and disturbs the fine rhythm of the rest of the piece. I think I'd lose precious memories. The overall content is very good and I shall be reading more of your poems soon.
