Lady Love Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Lady Love

Rating: 1.5

I met love last night;
I took a walk, like always
I felt heavy that night for no particular reason,
maybe there was something lingering in the air that day,
I couldn't quite figure it out,
people passed with a hazy look about them.

I just wander, I do, most of the time,
who looks a the sky any more, flowers grow, birds sing,
wind talks, leaves whisper, sun and the moon try so hard to get my attention,
I turn the other way,
I forgot how the ocean looks,
I forgot the sound.

She fallowed me,
I couldn't get away,
I ran,
I wanted to escape, she wouldn't let me,
her yes gleamed,
penetrating deep in my heart,
she new me but forgot about her long time ago,
I use to feel her all the time,
my heart was cold for many years,
I didn't let it bother me, no
why would it?
I live in space where no one can reach,
the surface hard and rough,
between ice and stone,
my heart lays.

So I meet her again, this lady love,
she came to claim my heart once more.
