She wanted him to
know that
however distantly removed
and in
however many ways,
and for however long,
there would always be waves of care
and share
and intimacy
and intense love
and passion
washing and watching over him
from far
across the seas
in whisper words
immortalised
in the birth
of dawn
and dusk.
