Kiss And Tell Poem by DiAnne Douglass

Kiss And Tell

Rating: 5.0

I kissed the lone wolf and tamed him
I asked the smart guy for a kiss
When he open his mouth for an explanation
I shut him up with my lips
The class clown made a joke about my kisses
After kissing me, he doesn't joke about the anymore
I kissed the science guy in the middle of an experiment
It blew up in his face, but he didn't mind
I kissed the emo boy while he was feeling tragic
He's much happier now
I asked the proud boy for a kiss
He refused but I kissed him anyway
He's not so proud about kissing me anymore

The girls all complain
The say I like to kiss and tell
That I'm a kissing fiend
That's not true 'cause...
I kissed the quiet girl to get her to talk
And I never told
I kissed the loud mouth to shut her up
I kissed the jealous one
And now she's jealous
But she says it's for another reason
I wonder why...

Why is it so bad for me to kiss and tell?
They all kissed me back
So where's the harm?
After all, a kiss for one of them is different
Than a kiss for me
So tell me...

Why are all the kids
In my kindergarten class so jealous
Of me kissing them on the forehead or the cheek?
Perhaps I'll never know...

Now I have to go to school
Ugh! College is a pain!
The boys and girls there are worse
About me kissing them
Than the kids at my part-time job
