{ Kiss } Poem by Ray Mesa

{ Kiss }

I was walking home one night
And I feel down a manhole
I screamed until I saw the light
I reached for a hand to save me from the hell hole
You pulled me with might
With words, with fight
I awoke to see you that night

The page turned into another chapter
You were the one I was supposed to be after
Like Mary, like a pastor
You are an angel a saint
When our fingers touch, my eyes turn faint
I linger with you in the moment
And our chapter begins

Slow but steady
I know my heart is ready
So take my hand
I'll take you there
In the fog
It’s in the air
Kiss me
If you dare

The world stops and Juliet appears
She saves me from hate and my fears
Jessica you make me cry and dry my tears
Oh where art tho? Under the sky?
Juliet? Is that you near the trees?
Call my name, here my cry
Juliet.....kiss me

I love you, these words can speak
I need you, these feelings are deep
I love you; my heart has reached its peak
I need you; it's in my soul it's in my feet

Under the moon
Just kiss me soon
It’s been so long
Since I’ve seen your lips
Under the moon
I don't care just kiss me now
I don't care whose looking
Tell them to look away
Because right now
I love you today
