King Of Kings Poem by Bill Simmons

King Of Kings

Rating: 5.0

See the stranger
In Bethlehem
Asleep in a manger
Would you look at him

Silently sleeping
Our savior in keeping
Holy night
Star shining bright
Watching over him tonight

Born in a barn
A blanket for his robe
Gifts in their arms
Three wise men know

Guiding light
A most beautiful thing
Born tonight
A king of Kings

Silently sleeping
Our savior in keeping
Holy night
Star shining bright
Watching over him tonight.

For some reason, this made me feel sad, and I feel you have the talent to bring the reader to all most any road you are traveling... This Christmas song was always one of my favoirets Away In The Manger, and you have brought it so beautifully to heights of compassion penned with much tenderness..... Very good... Bonnie
