Kaught'em Slippin' (Your Entertainment, My Reality) Poem by Cherokee Akan Ewe

Kaught'em Slippin' (Your Entertainment, My Reality)

across they teevee opticals
i bees they representative stereotypes from they thoughts
as they talk
without board and chalk
go type yours..yeah
go facial yours about me righ..yeah
first impression be the deception
i bees on the unda bout mine to da fullest
paper currency been your downfall
and see keeping cohesiveness like super glue been my upbringing and you can keep stepping in regular stride
you can be on top to the middle to the bottom
and im gon stay balanced moving when my hand says its time to move
by the land and by my people
theatrically realistic created minor keyed into my own tower
where no eyes see the ladder
be the same below and fools don't know
that my plane of existence be silence
i dwells in twenty four seven with only my indigenous Ancestors as komrads who be my mental faculty staff and membered
remaining live nonfleshed in motion
forget the fake hocus pocus
when travelling my way bee like hollow tip point on target popping rips opening thru in between bypassing glabella that to you will remain unknown until introverted truth changes itself
