Karn (Planet) Evil - Pt 2 Gods For Monsters Poem by Kevin Patrick

Karn (Planet) Evil - Pt 2 Gods For Monsters

Down creaking narrow stairways, in a cellar of this Keep
Hear the mutilating wails gush through cold airs depth and seep
The fog of ozone slithers around the dank and moist stonewalls
From the abattoir laboratory, the blind Prometheus calls
a mind supine and shackled in perceptions frozen dreams
See the knife electrodes stimulate axons of least resistance
through the cerebrum liquid maiden, it's a hell without existence
This constant plague of amputations birth eternals screams

Just step onto your right and you will find the iron door
with makeshift apparatuses, greased motors gears galore
airs of malevolence hide behind ancient bronze mortar
As oiled engines of Destiney give titans there no quarter
yet in the circuitry cistern the hacked immortal lies
No sight betrothed or touch to gorge, embowed in his tomb
Condemned in deaths little sisters purgatories green womb
We've trade our gods for monsters, as science reinvents the divine

But currents still storm the poor creature moans,
pleading in soul wrenching alacrity
'Help me! ' He shouts through a speaker box sewn
'I'm beyond pains kind wrathful ministry
'how should I cry, without eyes to possess?
No orbs or nerves, without tissues well joined
My limbs are phantoms, severed senses coiled
This inquisition will not acquiesce'
I am the bound prince of timeless slaughter
Unholy sciences greatest monster
