Kaleidoscope Poem by Kathy Lippard Cobb

Kaleidoscope

Rating: 5.0

Sunsets fade to black
seasons change
love moves through its cycles...
romance, marriage, divorce
children grow
parents die
friendships are made and broken
crows-feet etch once-bright eyes
hairlines recede, as do the gums...
today's truth is tomorrow's lie.

The point?

Life is a kaleidoscope,
the only thing you can truly count on
is that it will change.
