Just That Simple Love Poem by Preston Mwiinga

Just That Simple Love

I am the simple soul with a Love so pure,
Not drawn to opulence, but to hearts that endure.
Into your world I'll gladly step, but let's intertwine,
In simplicity's embrace, our love will shine.

My affection for you, unwavering and true,
No need for extravagance, just me and you.
No need for grandeur, for luxury's embrace,
Simple joys and moments, our hearts will grace.

Cosmetics hold no allure, for nature's gifts I treasure,
Guided by wisdom, from my mother's measure.
Smooth skin achieved not with pricey lotions,
But with avocados, and cucumber's motions.

Delicious meals, prepared with care and grace,
Cooked on a humble hearth, in a simple place.
No need for fancy outings, to parks or city lights,
Let's walk through woods, where nature's harmony ignites.

Love me as I am, with my flaws and imperfections,
In my tattered clothes, in life's varied directions.
With dry lips in hunger, with smoke in my hair,
For it's the essence of me, that you truly share.

Do not judge, do not shame, for I am who I am,
Embrace my roots, my heritage, my humble ram.
I am the Dundumwezi girl, with love so pure,
The Mumbwa Mumbwa girl, in traditions secure.

I love you, with a love that's steadfast and true,
In simplicity's embrace, our hearts renew.
So cherish me as I am, for I cherish you too,
In our simple love story, forever we'll pursue.
