Jupiter Poem by Amber Piercy

Jupiter

Jupiter

If we lived on Jupiter the air would be made of gas
The water would be clear as if it was made of glass
The environment would be so toxic that one could not breathe
You can get there only if you believe
Dreams do not exist here
It's like walking through a crystal mirror
But to walk on this beautiful planet you would die
The mountains would surely fly
the sky would crumble at our feet
And the ground would radiate the hottest heat
I would not want to live on Jupiter with you
If it means dying then Earth will have to do
