Jumping Spider Poem by Ima Ryma

Jumping Spider

Rating: 1.5

A jumping spider I am called.
I am a spider and I jump.
My limbs are fluidly hydrauled,
And lift me off in super pump.
I have four pairs of eyes to see
A bug that I may want to eat.
Lots of lunches are bigger than me.
My venom zonks a bug complete.
Before each jump, some silk I make,
And tether it as a drag line,
Leaving a silk trail in my wake,
A safety precaution of mine.

I do my jumping night and day,
Hoping humans aren't in my way.
