Jump Poem by Ladicius Angel

Walking slow with the thought in my mind
Looking around for some kind of sign
Will someone stop me?
Will anyone even miss me?
Thoughts get faster
Pace quickens as I get closer
Things will be better without me here
There is nothing at that 2,104 foot drop I should fear
I get closer with tears dripping from my chin
Then all of a sudden I get that huge grin
What's there to lose?
I'll just blow another fuse
It's scary knowing that no one knows
Because I don't allow my true feelings to show
The sad part is the ones who might care
Are the main people who really caused it
All is gone all is done
I stand there toes off edge anticipating my actions
Should I jump, should I not?
Here I am ready to let go
At piece with the idea of being gone
Then a single thought enters my mind
A glimmer of hope a picture of our future
Flashing before my eyes
A person is screaming
I can't tell who it is
It's getting louder
Time is running out
I'm still hearing the cry's
Option one or option two
No clue
Time to go
Jump and down
Screams are louder
Make the screaming stop
I'm falling and falling
Then a quick stop
All is silent
Recognition comes clear
I'm the one screaming I'm the one crying
Fighting to go down
I'm stuck half on ledge half off
Someone has me keeping me up
Is it good, is it an angel pulling me up to heaven
No it's him, my love
My gardian angel saving my thoughts from this hell
The screaming stops
The weeping begins
I collapse holding myself, in my mind it's your arms
All is silent
I walk away as if nothing happened.but guess what it did
And the thoughts are still there
