Journey Poem by Chris Frando

Journey

As the dust in the ground, I'm weak
Like a dog under its master’s table, for crumbs, fleads
I'm an unworthy servant because of my imperfections
I'm nothing in this world but a vagabond.

I fell seven times in misery
Once I lived in darkness
The eyes of my heart were blinded
With all the pain, grief and hatred.

But I found the light
By the love and comfort of my loved ones
My family, friends and special someone
Who showed me the beauty of life.

Above these things, praises and glory
Are all for God Almighty
He lifted me and never left me
Everyday I feel His kindness and mercy.

For twenty three years of countless blessings
Now I only have one wish and prayer
“Lord, be my light and guide
Lead me to this journey until eternal Life.”
