I knew that you'd be the one I'd chase,
from the first moment I saw your face.
You caught my sight by just walking by
And then I got caught in emotional ties.
My friends said that you lie and cheat
and flirt with every girl you meet.
I ignored their warning and gave you a second chance
and said, 'yes' when you asked me to dance.
The very next day when you said, 'Hi'
You checked out the girl who just passed by.
But I just gazed through your clouded eyes,
I was dazzled and couldn't see your lies.
After school, the day you called in sick,
I saw you at the mall with another chick.
I walked on over and called her a hoe,
turned around a gave you a low blow
I was hurt, I was sad
But at the end of the week I was plain mad
I thought you liked me, I thought you cared
but now I don't want you, if it meaned you'd be shared
After a month, I thought back and realized
I was better than you, I was the prize
but it was a lesson I just had to learn
boys aren't anything worth to mourn.
