Jenna Poem by Mike Conkey

Jenna

The sky
a place id like to be
a million miles anywhere from here
a place
where her memories cant touch me
ever word i said to her
she discarded
like a player discards cards
i tried to save
yet digging her deeper in the process
though as i moved through that sky
and i tested space and time
i found another
one i could call mine
her voice like an angel
lokkibg beautiful from any angle
a heart burning like fire
filled with faith and desire
her eyes blue like water
through rough waves i caught her
skin like a soft flower
shes always sweet never sour
i wonder
whats all in her little heart
when she calls my name
that angel voice
she made a final choice
running into me was it luck
or simply fate
cuz i remeber that final made date
november 14th
two thousand and eight
would seal shut my final fate
of the girl i will always love
Jenna
