It Would Happen Eventually Poem by Champion Chris

It Would Happen Eventually

Rating: 5.0

Two hearts connected, two people in love
One word was said, it tore them apart

Now look at him, the blood on his glove
She broke him, ripped out his heart

He was lost, then confused for a time
Wondering chronically, where he went wrong

His love was perfect, her image sublime
When she said it, Death's gong had rung

Depressed and suicidal, with no way out
The weapons in front of him, which way should he choose?

The longsword, her honor and love devout
Or the handgun, swift and forgetful loose?

Then she came, apology exercised
Why did she return? Haven't i been through enough?

Step back from me demon, or be exorcised
Broke me and killed me, i'm still too tough

You don't want me anymore, i have evolved
Since last we kissed, my heart is barred

My conscious has died, darkness dissolved
Please walk away, before you are scarred

My vengeance never fails, brings only victory
You thought you had me, but instead set me free

My inner demon likes you, glad that you can be
The one that pushed my limit, it would happen eventually
