It's Not Enough To Lament You Poem by Raul Luna

It's Not Enough To Lament You

I got up from my chair and went outside
I finally realized that you are a lost cause
I remember when both of us had cried
I looked deep inside you to find your flaws

I saw for the first time that there is truth
I realized not everyone is like you
I had fought the battle to keep my youth
I had always known you were a taboo

I never realized that the world was like this
I kept you close in my arms
I just want one last kiss
I just want to escape your charms

You know that I still remember your face
You realize you’ve killed me
You gave me one last race of disgrace
You tried to hide, but you could just flee

You is what I need to stop my pain
You are now just a voice in my dreams
You were just a death in vain
You just can’t wait for my screams

You were as beautiful as the stars above
You swore you’d love me forever and ever
You were just a fake love
You were never this clever

I have six words for you...

Without you I am myself again
