I saw her, down on both kneels
back against the wall
Sobbing
Hands plastered on her face
Crying
Softly once again
For a man who could not protect
Her heart like she deserved...
Controlling
Her like a fiddle
Playing
Her like a game
Leaving
Her to pick the pieces of her heart
Swooping
In time to save the day
Confusing
Her that his heart was true
Wooing
With his sweet words
Walking
Away when the harm has been done.
How can he heal your
heart
when he has not healed his
soul?
I saw her crawl into bed
Its been a long hard day
Quiet now dear one
Its night somewhere...
