An’ my new friend
It’s my old frown
With no ground
I’m happier with him around
What do ya do?
When love’s not allowed

Effortless
Meaningless
Feeling-less
Lifeless

She’s my best friend
Always there
He’s my new friend
Who’s now their
Both make me smile
It’s the old frown
Turned upside down
The times with him around
Me smiling
So happily
But her
My best friend
Life without has no meaning
My best friend
Or my new friend
Why must I choose?
