It's A Sure Thing Poem by Benjamin Feliciano

It's A Sure Thing

View my fascination,
Looking at things too closely.
Curiosity.
Follow me.
Clarity.
Eyes too heavy now,
Back to back dreams of you.
You were lifted up and drug away flailing;
Constellations melted as you dissipated.
I held on until joints dislocated.
Then we were hiding in shadows from those who sought to steal,
We held hands and dove from a dock;
Away went the fear.
Swimming in cerulean waters of blue
We held on tight,
You to me,
And me to you.
