It Is A Great And Noble Thing
It is a great and noble thing
To give up oneself
In the hopes of a passionate Love
But it is also foolish
The great honour it may bestow
Leaves behind a crippling sadness
A hero nevertheless
Though tragic for the other half
Whose affections are unattended
Left to dim and die:
The embers from used kindling
From the fire into ashes
