It Has All Been Done Before Poem by Joyce Hemsley

It Has All Been Done Before

In days gone by
Oh, it's quite true
Some men shared a job,
The lucky few!
Shift work schemes
Were like sweet dreams
The working week
Split into two.
Men had more freedom
Found it a pleasure
As they valued their
'Hobby-filled' hours
Of leisure.
