It Could Be Forever Poem by Colin Coplin

It Could Be Forever

Rating: 4.0

And what will be, will be tomorrow
What's to be said can later wait
If you must leave, then leave this instant
For if you stay, we'll make love tonight

She'd all your thoughts, like dirty laundry,
Draw the curtains, pull down the blind
The night will be ours, and come the morning
Will be our rebirth and dawn of time

And if the phone should ring, doorbell sing,
Or, if the winds should bring war, then let them

For I really don't know if it's right or wrong
But when I'm with you, it's heaven
It could be forever, forever and ever
I'm telling you, it's heaven, over and over

Roll the dice, don't think twice, it alright
Trust your heart, I'll play the bard, and comfort your bosket
It could be forever, forever and ever
I'm telling you, it's heaven, over and over

Tomorrow, when we wake up to the sunrise,
And the east wind dances on our skin
Our whole world will have changed forever
As dawn and time, begin again

Come she'd all your thoughts like dirty laundry,
lock the door, pull down the blind
If you must leave, then leave this instant,
for if you stay, we'll make love, tonight
