Ism Poem by Raymond Farrell

Ism

Rating: 5.0

Ism begins with I
Which is where its problems lie

It seldom matters what the prefix happens to be
For the most part its main concern is me

For those feigning infinite levels of care
You'll put the word human in there

Now think of what human brings to mind
Often brutality hatred is what you'll find

Stick on some other prefix give it a different face
Paste it together to fill life's empty space

It's still just an ism and begins with I
And will be until the day you die
