Intrinsically Untitled Poem by Richard Sopko

Intrinsically Untitled

Oh what a word upon my lips
So savory to sound
And when it finally comes to pass
I'll be buried in the ground

Sometimes at night I lie awake
How has it been prolonged?
I should be dead I should have died
My existence feels so wrong
