Into Me Poem by Vishnu Pandit

Into Me

Why do people keep running?
And why do hands turn on a clock?
Why do empty streets fill the space?
Now where will the birds will flock?

Do they find it fascinating?
Lost in dreams, culminating?
Is it really worth?
When it ends as earth?

I say,
Life is free;
It's meant to be.
Like a rainbow that fills the sky;
A love that takes you high;
A river that falls free,
Into me
Into me
Into me.

Why add pennies to life?
For every person you subtract;
Why hate? Discriminate?
When all of it you can attract.

Does it really makes you human?
Feels ‘cool' and brings you joy?
Where's the message you wanna send?
When all that is comes to end.

I say;
Life is free,
It's meant to be.
Like the dawn of a new day;
With peace that makes you stay.
A gentle breeze across the sea;
Into me
Into me
Into me.
